The 33-year-old has reportedly signed a deal with Fox, and is said to be exploring ideas for her debut series. According to The Sun, Price has been influenced by The Adventures Of Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert.
"It's taken nearly a year to set this contract up," the former glamour model said. "We're thinking of doing the road trip from New York to Los Angeles.
"But I want a big Priscilla-style van. You've got to make it fun. The cameras will be inside the van. That's what we're working on at the moment."
She explained: "I'll be in America in September and they're trying to work out what they want to do. I'm not trying to be famous or massive, I'm just doing what I want to do."
Price insisted that her UK fanbase will be able to see her American adventures on her Sky Living series Katie.
"I'm signed with Sky Living so it's just about trying to fit in when I can film. I'll definitely be filming out there," she said, confirming that she plans to overhaul the format of the programme.
"Even over here the next reality show I'm doing is going to be a road trip to make it more interesting. I don't think anyone wants to see me in the hairdressers and getting my nails done all the time."
Last week, Price failed in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest book signing by a single author.
