Bilson stars in the CW drama as Zoe Hart, a doctor who moves from Manhattan to Alabama.
However, speaking at the Television Critics Association press tour, she admitted that she does not feel pressure as the show's star.
Bilson said: "I think there are so many different relationships going on. And the characters are awesome. I'm so lucky to have everyone that I do. I don't feel any pressure, because I really feel like it's a group effort and everyone is so fantastic."
She continued: "I realise it is Hart of Dixie and Zoe Hart, it is her last name. But it is a group effort, and it really is a family. So there's no pressure."
Hart of Dixie reunites Bilson with Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, who previously produced The OC.
Bilson admitted that the show's crew was a factor in her decision to sign up along with the pilot's script, saying: "Everything felt right. You know when you just know."
Hart of Dixie, which will also star Scott Porter, Jaime King and Wilson Bethel, will premiere on The CW on September 26.
