George Lopez has delivered his penultimate monologue as host of Lopez Tonight.

TBS announced that the late-night show had not been renewed for a third season yesterday, with its final episode slated to air tonight.

Lopez joked during his Wednesday night monologue: "Like almost every TV star who loses his job, now what am I going to do everybody asks... Like every TV star before me, I'm going to find some crack. I'm going to get on the pipe, lose that unwanted 110lbs I've been trying to lose."

He added: "I'm taking it good. I'm straight. I'm fine. My goddesses are a wreck... They left me... It's been great every night to work with the band... We're not saying goodbye, we're saying cable doesn't work!"
