Kate Gosselin has said that she feels comfortable in front of the camera.

The reality star told Access Hollywood Live that she hopes to continue working in television following the end of her reality show Kate Plus 8, which aired its final episode on TLC last night.

Gosselin said: "I would love to go forward with a TV career, I feel very comfortable in this role."

The mother-of-eight also repeated her previous assertion that viewers could see her twin daughters Mady and Cara and sextuplets Aaden, Collin, Joel, Alexis, Leah and Hannah on the small screen again too in some capacity.

"Never say never," she said. "I'm going to say there are a lot of people out there that care about them and for me to say, 'No, you'll never see my kids again'… I can't say that."

TLC announced in August that it would not be renewing Kate Plus 8 for another season. The show began life as Jon & Kate Plus 8 but was revamped to its later format following Kate's separation from ex-husband Jon.

Fans of the show can keep up to date on Kate and the children through a new website called KatePlusMy8.com which launched yesterday.

In a welcome message posted on the site, Gosselin told readers that she "fast-tracked" the project in order to give them an arena to express their thoughts following the conclusion of Kate Plus 8.

"Upon learning that our show Kate Plus 8 was ending, I knew that there would be a void left in the hearts of many who have virtually supported and gotten to "know" our family for many years. I felt your pain and sought to do something to ease it," she said.
