Doherty: The backlash continues

Shannen Doherty has slated Aaron Spelling and former co-star Alyssa Milano in the latest war of words between the two camps.

In an interview for next month's Details magazine, she began by denying rumours that she had attempted to push Paramount into letting Milano go as their on-going feud intensified.

"I would never wish another actor out of a job. I think it's terrible karma," she said.

She admitted, however, that the pair weren't the best of friends. "I mean, what do we do? Say a few lines, sit in our trailers and get paid a fortune. And yet there was a person there that bitched about her job, day in, day out. I think my passion for my work was too overwhelming."

Turning to executive producer Aaron Spelling, she added: "The lack of appreciation he’s showing for me as a human being and as an actor is overwhelming. I bet I’ll be thanking Aaron Spelling very soon for this ‘mutual’ decision of ours."
