Roger Bart, Edward Furlong and Tom Sizemore have signed up for guest roles in TNT's new drama Perception.

The series, which was picked up in March, stars Eric McCormack as a highly intelligent neuroscientist who assists the FBI with complex cases.

Bart has now signed up to play an IRS agent who is arrested after the murder of a cult member, TV Guide reports.

Elsewhere, Furlong and Sizemore will appear in an episode about an Irish criminal group. Sizemore will play a mobster, while Furlong's character is considered a rising star in the organisation.

Bart has previously appeared in shows like Desperate Housewives and The Event, while Furlong had roles in CSI: NY and the movie American History X.

Meanwhile, Sizemore is currently starring in Hawaii Five-0 and has worked on films such as Saving Private Ryan and Black Hawk Down.

Cary Elwes, Neal McDonough, Krista Allen, Jamie Bamber, Rachael Leigh Cook and Kelly Rowan are among the other stars who have landed roles in Perception.

The show is due to premiere on TNT next year.
