ABC begins recruitment for 'The Runner'

ABC has opened recruitment for "The Runner", for both potential Runners and Agents, it was announced today during the network's presentation at the Television Critics Association meeting in Pasadena, CA.
To become the Runner, a citizen who will attempt to carry out a secret mission, or an Agent, a recruit who will attempt to capture the Runner, applicants must go to abc.com, keyword: runner, and apply to either the Runner Operations Centre (R.O.C.) or The Agency. After taking a short quiz, they will be able to download the application.
Potential recruits may not apply to be both a Runner and an Agent. Applicants must be at least 21 years or older to apply.
In addition to completing the application form, applicants must make a 5-minute videotape about themselves and mail it, along with a recent personal photo, to Fortitude Productions, PO Box 4351-PMB300, Los Angeles, CA 90078-4351. The current application deadline is Wednesday, August 15.
"The Runner" premieres January 7, 2002, on ABC.
