George Lopez developing new sitcom

The 50-year-old revealed that he is in the process of developing a new sitcom in which he will play a father and a husband, The AP reports.
Lopez described the show as "the opposite" of George Lopez, his previous sitcom that aired on ABC from 2002 to 2007.
TBS cancelled the comedian's late-night talkshow Lopez Tonight in August after two years.
Lopez joked about the cancellation at the time, claiming that he was going to indulge in crack to ease the pain of the news.
In August, he credited Sandra Bullock with his success, saying that he never would have made it as far as he has without her support.
Lopez also announced that he will star in a stand-up special for HBO in 2012.
