The series - from Heat director Michael Mann - will officially launch on the cable network in early 2012.
However, viewers will be able to watch the first episode as a special preview on December 11, according to Variety.
The Luck pilot will air immediately following the season two finale of Boardwalk Empire.
The show, written by Deadwood's David Milch, will follow an ensemble of characters who are frequenters of the same horse-racing track.
Dustin Hoffman leads the cast, which also includes Nick Nolte, John Ortiz, Ian Hart and John C McGinley.
Mann, who helmed the pilot, previously admitted that Luck had lured him back to television directing.
"I really didn't want to get back into television, but the script was just so damn good," he revealed in June. "It was one of the best things anyone has ever given me to direct."
