The star will appear in the Tim Allen sitcom as deadbeat dad Ryan, according to TV Line.
The character will debut in the show's Christmas-themed episode, and will clash with Allen's Mike Baxter.
Jonas appeared in an episode of short-lived ABC comedy Mr. Sunshine earlier this year and also starred alongside his brothers Kevin Jonas and Joe Jonas in the Disney Channel's Jonas.
In 2012, he will play a former child star in NBC's midseason musical drama Smash.
Last Man Standing was recently picked up for a full season, after pulling in impressive ratings.
The show airs on Tuesdays at 8/7c on ABC.
