'NCIS' trickles over 20m for season high

NCIS climbed to a season high last night, soaring over 20m for the first time this fall, preliminary figures indicate.

The CBS drama rose 900k week-on-week to average 20.3m at 8pm, while the show commanded a strong 4.1 share in the 18-49 demos.

The Tiffany Network topped primetime as NCIS: LA (15.6m/3.4) and Unforgettable (11.6m/2.4) followed with steady audiences.

Over on Fox, Glee rallied to 6.9m (3.1) at 8pm, then New Girl logged 6.8m (3.5).

Meanwhile, 90210 (1.6m/0.8) and Ringer (1.7m/0.7) put in respectable performances.

The Biggest Loser (6.8m/2.4) and Parenthood (5.2m/2.0) helped NBC to beat ABC.

Last Man Standing (9.2m/2.6) and Man Up! (6.2m/1.7) dropped to all-time lows on the Alphabet Network, while Dancing with the Stars fell to 14.9m (2.7) in the 9pm hour. In the Spotlight with Robin Robert had 8.6m at 10pm.
