The Black Swan director was asked by agency Organic and production house Wild Plum to shoot four 30-second PSAs as part of the Meth Project, reports Mediabistro.
The Meth Project's PSAs aim to "reduce first-time meth use with [their] hard-hitting and graphic portrayals".
One video shows a girl after slitting her wrists in an attempt to commit suicide, while another video shows a boy exchanging sex for money.
The PSAs are apparently going to air on television.
Aronofsky has also directed a video for Lou Reed and Metallica'srecent Lulu project.
Reed said: "I have loved Darren Aronofsky since he did Pi. I hope I can be his next Black Swan."
