AMC
AMC is developing a new sci-fi drama with Battlestar Galactica's David Eick.

Thunderstruck will focus on the impact of an alien visitation on the citizens of Great Falls, Montana.

Eick will executive produce the project, alongside The Exorcism of Emily Rose writers Paul Boardman and Scott Derrickson.

Derrickson will direct the Thunderstruck pilot episode. He and Boardman are also working on Charlize Theron film Zwart Water and a remake of classic 1982 horror film Poltergeist.

Eick has a number of other projects in development. He is working with HBO on the series Inhuman and will co-write an adaptation of The Incredible Hulk with Guillermo del Toro for ABC.

AMC recently debuted two new series - Western drama Hell on Wheels and The Walking Dead talk show spinoff Talking Dead.

Back in March, it was reported that the cable network was developing another sci-fi series, Torchwood scribe John Shiban's alien drama The Voyage.
