'Wolf Hall' by Hilary Mantel
HBO and the BBC are reportedly collaborating on an adaptation of Wolf Hall.

The two broadcasters are planning a miniseries based on the Booker-winning Hilary Mantel novel, Deadline says.

Wolf Hall focuses on the life of historical figure Thomas Cromwell, who worked in the court of King Henry VIII.

The HBO and BBC project is reportedly being written by Peter Straughan, who recently penned the movie Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.

Straughan's other credits include the films The Debt, The Men Who Stare At Goats and How To Lose Friends & Alienate People.

HBO and the BBC are also currently working on an adaptation of Parade's End, which will star Benedict Cumberbatch, Rebecca Hall and Stephen Graham.

A remake of the classic drama I, Claudius is also thought to be in the works.
