Jennifer Lopez has said that she doesn't think America can ever have too many stars.
The American Idol judge was asked during an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman if she thought the country really needed more musical talent.
Lopez laughed: "I don't think you can ever have enough stars!"

Discussing her judging role on American Idol, she said: "It's a lot of fun. I love music, it's just a different kind of thing to do with music. We just have a good time. I love Steven and Randy and we have a lot of fun on the show.
"They are long days, we see a lot of people, some are good, some are not, but it's always interesting. So many different people from so many different cities with so many different stories. Everybody is just different."

Lopez also spoke about working with ex-husband Marc Anthony on their talent show Q'Viva! The Chosen following their separation last year.
"It's fun because we know each other so well and we work well together, but it has its moments," she said. "The same things that kind of... didn't really work sometimes come up."
When pressed by Letterman on what sort of things she meant, the actress said: "Communication, just like you're talking and you don't agree and then you're like, 'Be quiet!' Things like that! You'll see it on the show - a little bit!"
Q'Viva! The Chosen is described as the "ultimate live show celebrating Latin music, artistry and dance", and features Lopez and Anthony travelling to different parts of the Americas in a bid to discover fresh talent that they can bring to the worldwide stage.
