Britney Spears 'wants to appear on Modern Family'

The singer told her Twitter followers that she is a fan of the ABC sitcom, which stars Ty Burrell and Sofia Vergara.
"I know everybody is excited about the Super Bowl, but I personally can't wait to see the next episode of Modern Family!" she wrote. "Funniest show on TV."
Spears's manager Adam Leber later tweeted: "@BritneySpears on Modern Family? What do you guys think?"
Fans of the popstar later attempted to get the Twitter hashtag #GetBritneyOnModernFamily trending, with Spears replying: "Ahhhh I would love to be on it!"
She previously starred in the 2002 film Crossroads and played guest roles on Will & Grace and How I Met Your Mother.
Modern Family airs on Wednesdays on ABC in the US and on Fridays on Sky1 in the UK.
Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston recently signed up to direct an episode of the comedy series.
