'Live! With Kelly' to air live from Kodak Theatre after the Oscars

Live with Kelly! will air a special one-hour show live from the Kodak Theatre after the Academy Awards.

Kelly Ripa's Live! With Kelly's After Oscar Show will air from the Hollywood venue that is home to the Oscars on Monday, February 27 at 9am ET, featuring interviews with the night's winners and presenters and red carpet fashion analysis.

The show has also teamed with Slim-Fast to award three people the chance to watch the broadcast live from the Kodak Theatre.

Talking to Access Hollywood about the Oscar special, Ripa said: "I think it will be terrific and we're literally getting the stars straight from the parties on our stage, and what's best is we're coming straight from Hawaii to do this show so I'm going to be tanned, which is great!"

She added: "I've never been to an Oscar party so this should be fun!"

Hugo leads the nominees for the 2012 Academy Awards with recognition in 11 categories including 'Best Picture' and 'Best Director' for Martin Scorsese.

The Artist has been nominated for ten awards, while Moneyball and War Horse have six nominations each, and The Descendants is up for five gongs.

The Oscars air live from the Kodak Theatre on Sunday, February 26.
