As expected, Breaking In benefited from its lead-in of Zooey Deschanel's New Girl, which grabbed 6m (3.0) at 9pm.
Shunted to 8pm, Raising Hope held up reasonably well with 4.8m (2.1), then I Hate My Teenage Daughter amused 3.8m (1.6).
Last Man Standing (5.6m/1.4) in the 8pm hour and Body of Proof (4.7m/0.9) in the 10pm slot were repeats.
The Biggest Loser dipped to a season low of 5.7m (1.9) for NBC, before the network's Super Tuesday election coverage averaged 3.1m (1.0) at 10pm.
Elsewhere, CBS aired repeats of NCIS (14.4m/2.4), NCIS: Los Angeles (11.9m/1.9) and Unforgettable (8.3m/1.4), while new editions of 90210 (1.3m/0.7) and Ringer (1.2m/0.5) were broadcast on The CW.
