The 17th episode of the crime drama, starring Jim Caviezel as CIA agent Reece, logged 15.8m for CBS and managed a rating of 3.4 in the 18-49 adult demos, beating its last high on February 2.
The Big Bang Theory (15.2m/5.1) gave the Tiffany Network more reason to celebrate at 8pm, as it overpowered Fox's American Idol (17m/4.8) in the metered markets.
At 8.30pm, a repeat of the sitcom amused 12.9m (4.0), and 13.8m (2.8) caught The Mentalist at 10pm.
Elsewhere on Fox, 7.3m (2.3) watched The Finder's penultimate episode.
Jason Isaacs's Awake slipped to a disappointing 4.3m (1.6) for NBC in the 10pm hour, down considerably on its premiere audience last week.
However, there was growth for comedy trio Parks and Recreation (3.8m/1.9) at 8.30pm, The Office (5m/2.6) at 9pm and Up All Night (3.5m/1.7). 8pm's 30 Rock stayed low with 3.5m (1.4).
Meanwhile on ABC, Wipeout (4.6m/1.3), Grey's Anatomy (4.1m/1.4) and Private Practice (3.8m/1.3) were all repeats.
So too were The CW's instalments of The Vampire Diaries (1.2m/0.4) and Supernatural (890k/0.3).
