CBS and FOX have settled the lawsuit arising from alleged similarities between rival reality series Boot Camp and Survivor.
A statement issued by FOX yesterday read: "CBS and Survivor Productions have agreed to dismiss their claim against Fox Broadcasting Co." Exact terms of the settlement were not disclosed.
CBS announced that it was filing a lawsuit against FOX and LMNO Productions in April of this year. At the time, a spokesman for the network said: "Aside from its military setting, the premise and format of Boot Camp are virtually identical to Survivor."
