O'Donnell's series was dropped from Oprah Winfrey's OWN network last week but Trump, who has been feuding with the host since at least 2006, claimed that he knew it would happen on Fox & Friends.
"Frankly, that was just going to happen," he said. "I knew it immediately when they announced it. Rosie fails at everything."
Trump also suggested that O'Donnell will get another job but claimed that it will be short-lived.
"Some moron will come and hire her again to do something else and that will fail," he said. "At some point, let her rest. Let her go away."
Trump also attacked O'Donnell on Twitter, saying: "Rosie O'Donnell has failed again. Her ratings were abysmal and Oprah cancelled her on Friday night. When will media executives learn that Rosie just hasn't got it."
The message was later retweeted by O'Donnell.
Trump previously mocked the ratings for O'Donnell's show in December, prompting her to post on Twitter that he should "go back to selling snake oil" and is "an ass... in every way".
