The awards ceremony hosted by Blake Shelton and Reba McIntyre was slightly down from last year's ratings but still easily took in the most viewers.
The broadcast attracted a peak of 13.18 million viewers and an adults 18-49 demo rating of 3.2 at 8-11pm.
ABC's Once Upon a Time fell to a series low of 8.2m (2.7) at 8pm, while Desperate Housewives levelled at 8.38m (2.6) at 9pm.
GCB also dropped 10% to a series low of 5.84m (1.9) at 10pm.
Bob's Burgers tumbled 20% from last week to a season low of 3.6m (1.6) at 8.30pm on Fox, while Family Guy fell 11% from its last original episode to 5.09m (2.5) at 9pm. American Dad stayed the same at 9.30pm with 4.22m (2.0).
A three-hour Celebrity Apprentice equalled last week's airing, but was up from Harry's Law's rating at 8pm last week. The reality series took in a peak of 6.54m (2.0) between 8-11pm on NBC.
