'Jericho', 'Justice' up from premiere numbers

Jericho and Justice have both risen from their premiere ratings on their second outings, according to Nielsen Media Research data.

It was ABC's Dancing With The Stars, however, that won the 8pm hour on Wednesday night by a clear margin with an average of 15.6m viewers. Jericho on CBS placed second with 11.4m viewers, but its rating was up 5% over last week. Bones on Fox averaged 7.7m viewers. NBC, which ran The Biggest Loser from 8pm to 10pm, scraped an average of 7m viewers during the two hours. The CW rounded out the hour with America's Next Top Model averaging 4.8m viewers.

At 9pm, CBS won the hour with Criminal Minds (16.5m viewers). A Lost recap episode on ABC was watched by 9.5m. Justice on Fox averaged 7.1m viewers, again building on its ratings from last week. The season premiere of One Tree Hill, meanwhile, was watched by 3.6m viewers tuned to The CW.

CBS won again at 10pm with CSI: NY's average of 16.1m viewers. ABC's interview with Steve Irwin's wife, Terri Irwin, averaged 13.3m. Kidnapped on NBC managed to lose viewers from its Biggest Loser lead-in, managing just 6.3m viewers, down significantly from its numbers a week ago.
