Seth MacFarlane's Family Guy spinoff, now in its third season, amused 4.3m (2.0) - up over a million viewers and 69% in the 18-49 adult demos on its last new airing a fortnight ago.
Fellow animated comedy Bob's Burgers climbed to 3.8m (1.8) at 8.30pm, while The Simpsons (4.9m/2.2) - returning after three weeks off - was the only show to lose viewers.
Julian Fellowes's final Titanic, which has also performed poorly in the UK, sunk to 4.2m (0.9) at 9pm. Affected by the lead-in, GCB slumped to a new low of 4.5m (1.5).
However, the opener of police procedural drama NYC 22 was unable to beat GCB in the demos, pulling in 8.9m (1.5) for CBS in the 10pm hour.
The Tiffany Network's primetime win came thanks to a Mike Wallace tribute on 60 Minutes (10.8m/1.4), The Amazing Race (9.2m/2.5) and The Good Wife (10m/1.8).
Celebrity Apprentice anchored NBC's schedule with a solid 6.6m (2.1) between 9pm and 11pm, prior to which Harry's Law slipped to 8.1m (0.9). Current affairs show Dateline had 4.8m (1.3) at 7pm.
America's Funniest Home Videos (6.3m/1.5), also airing at 7pm, provided ABC with its only slot win of the night.
