Comcast's OLN now called Versus

First it was the Outdoor Life Network, then it became OLN. Now, it's Versus.
The culmination of a "two-year network evolution," the channel's new name was chosen for its "bold nature" and because it "universally evokes sports and competition in all of its forms," said parent company Comcast in a written statement.
The home of field sports on American TV has been undergoing a wider makeover over the past few years, and it has now reached a level - considering the inclusion of darts and even NHL games on the schedule - that the "Outdoor Life" moniker, originally licensed from the magazine of the same title, no longer represented the channel's output.
The channel is, however, taking pains to note that hunting and fishing will remain staples of its primetime lineup.
"Field sports is one of the most time-honoured, sporting traditions in America. Anyone who has been skunked on a hunting trip or told the story of ‘the one that got away’ can relate to that," said Greg Trager, director of field sports programming and production at Versus. "Versus will continue to highlight the stories and traditions that make field sports so important to this network and to our fans."
