NBC shuts down 'Kidnapped' production

The news comes just days after the network's CEO, Bob Wright, openly criticised the severely ratings-challenged show, saying it "was maybe too difficult a concept."
However, in a change from NBC's past approach to dealing with failed shows - the network, like many of its US counterparts, has been known to pluck shows from its schedule without much in the way of notice - it is understood that the network will air all 13 episodes and is working with Sony Pictures TV to wrap the show's storyline up neatly.
