A model of the Starship Enterprise has sold for $576,000 (£308,000) at auction.
The price for the Star Trek memorabilia dwarfed the $30,000 predicted by Christie's auction house before the sale.
The model, which is 78 inches long, was used in the title sequences of Star Trek: The Next Generation from 1987 and the movie Star Trek Generations. It was made by Industrial Light and Magic.
More than 1,000 items were auctioned at the three-day sale for a total exceeding $7.1m. A replica of Captain James T Kirk's command chair went for $62,400.
