Ice-T has said that he wants to see more development of his character on Law & Order: SVU.

The rapper-turned-actor has played Detective Fin Tutuola on the NBC crime drama since 2000.

"I wouldn't mind knowing a little more about Fin," Ice-T - real name Tracy Marrow - told TV Guide.

"I've never been home. I don't have a car. I don't even know if I've kissed a girl in 13 years."

Last year, Ice-T signed a new deal to remain with Law & Order: SVU for two more years.

The series - which currently stars Danny Pino and Kelli Giddish - was recently picked up for a 14th season.

Showrunner Warren Leight has revealed that he wants SVU to continue into a 15th season and beyond.

"I want it to be 14 years down, seven to go, as opposed to 14 years down and it's been a good run," he admitted.

Law & Order: SVU continues on Wednesdays at 10/9c on NBC.
