NBC is expanding its late night/early morning original programming lineup with an hour of poker.

Poker After Dark will air at 2:05am on the east and west coasts of America beginning on January 2, 2007.

"There's a vibrant late night audience looking for original programming," said Marc Graboff, president of NBC Universal TV's west coast division. "We felt this inside look at the professional poker scene is perfect for late night television and those viewers seeking an unique and original broadcast."

The show will be hosted by former model Shana Hiatt. Each week, a single table's progress will be followed culminating with a winner every Friday. The Saturday night show, which will air after Saturday Night Live at around 1am, will be in a "director's cut" style.
