Six episodes of October Road have been picked up by ABC, the network has confirmed.
The drama follows the story of a young novelist who returns to his New England hometown to teach at university, and stars One Tree Hill's Bryan Greenberg.
Production on the show will start on October 30 for a midseason launch, according to Variety.
