Friends co-creator Marta Kauffman will create a new drama-comedy set in a dance studio for The CW, it has been announced.
The fledgling Time Warner-CBS network has ordered a pilot of the hour-long show, which has Steps as a working title. So You Think You Can Dance judge Mia Michaels has joined the project as a consulting choreographer.
"Dance is very close to my heart," Kauffman told The Hollywood Reporter.
