Billboard Awards hands ABC another Sunday night win

The Billboard Awards kept ABC atop the Sunday ratings last night, according to Nielsen overnight data.

Featuring Katy Perry and Justin Bieber, the ceremony drew 7.4m (2.7) between 8pm and 11pm, its lowest audience since 2006.

America's Funniest Home Videos gave the event a lead-in of 5.8m (1.5) in the 8pm hour. The clip show pipped 60 Minutes which had 5m (1.4) on CBS.

60 Minutes made a further appearance in the Tiffany Network's schedule, managing 10.1m (1.5) at 8pm. Movie Jesse Stone: Benefit of the Doubt grabbed 12.8m (1.2) between 9pm and 11pm.

The Cleveland Show finale logged an ordinary 3m (1.3) at 7.30pm, then The Simpsons climbed to 4.8m (2.1), and Bob's Burgers was flat with 3.7m (1.8) at 8.30pm.

Then at 9pm, a one-hour Family Guy special took 5.3m (2.5), increasing two tenths in the 18-49 adult demos week-on-week.

Elsewhere, The Celebrity Apprentice soared to 6.8m (2.2) for NBC, benefiting from the fact that Desperate Housewives is no longer airing opposite it.
