Warner Bros. TV, the production studio of The Nine, is hoping to build online buzz for the critically acclaimed ABC show.
For the next fortnight, the series' pilot episode will be available for free on iTunes, AOL Video and Amazon Unbox.
The drama, picked up in the UK by Five, has faced stiff competition from CBS ratings powerhouse CSI: NY in its 10pm timeslot on Wednesdays. With the aforementioned crime drama averaging between 15-20% of the 18-49 demographic audienec share in its slot, The Nine has struggled to gain recognition in the hour.
