CSI star Ted Danson attended the Monaco event to accept the award today (June 14).
This marks the fifth time the CBS procedural series has been given the award in the past seven years due to its viewing figures.

CSI spinoff CSI: Miami was cancelled after ten seasons on air, while CSI: New York was renewed for a ninth season.
CBS entertainment president Nina Tassler explained that the cancellation of CSI: Miami was "about keeping the flow".
