Bob Barker, the 82 year old host of long-running game show Price Is Right, has announced that he plans to retire next June.
"I will be 83 years old on December 12," he told the Associated Press, "and I've decided to retire while I'm still young."
Barker has hosted the daily CBS game show for 34 years.
"We knew this day would come, but that doesn't make it any easier," said CBS chief Les Moonves. "Bob Barker is a daytime legend, an entertainment icon and one of the most beloved television personalities of our time."
