Lost has once again been challenged by Criminal Minds in the shows' latest ratings battle, according to Nielsen Media Research data.

ABC started in the lead in the Wednesday night ratings with Dancing With The Stars, which averaged 19.2m viewers and a 13% share in the adults 18-49 demographic. Over on CBS, Jericho came second in the slot with 10m viewers and an 8% share in 18-49; Bones on Fox tied it in the demo and averaged 7.4m viewers. America's Next Top Model on The CW averaged 4.4m viewers and a 6% share in 18-49, coming ahead of NBC's 30 Rock and 20 Good Years which posted 4.5m viewers and a 5% share in 18-49.

At 9, Criminal Minds on CBS averaged 16.7m viewers and a 12% share in adults 18-49. Lost on ABC posted 16.1m viewers and the same demo share. The Biggest Loser on NBC put in a relatively decent performance with 7.8m viewers and an 8% share in 18-49, while the Eamonn Holmes-hosted Rich List on Fox pulled just over 4m viewers and a 4% 18-49 share.

At 10, CSI: NY kept CBS in the lead with 16.5m viewers and a 15% 18-49 share; NBC placed second, largely thanks to a Dateline NBC interview with Madonna which averaged 7.1m viewers and an 8% 18-49 share. ABC's The Nine pulled 6.7m viewers and a 7% demo share.
