Fox schedules extra 'O.C.' episode
Published Saturday, Nov 4 2006, 14:31 GMT | By Neil Wilkes

Last week's fourth season premiere had a disappointing 3.4 million viewers in its notoriously difficult Thursday, 9pm timeslot. The figure is around a third the series used to draw in its heyday.
An extra episode is now being scheduled for this Wednesday, November 8 at 9pm - in the hope of drawing in more viewers for another new episode the following night. The Rich List and Happy Hour have been dropped from the schedules.
Meanwhile, viewers who missed the premiere are being encouraged to catch up by watching a stream on MySpace or their local Fox affiliate website.
