Latin Grammys win big ratings in US

The 7th Annual Latin Grammy Awards ceremony was a ratings success in America, according to Nielsen Media Research figures.
The awards gala was broadcast on the Spanish-language Univision network, but the show won its time period regardless of languages in several key markets. Overall, the show averaged 5.7m viewers, reaching 11.3m unique viewers cumulatively. In Los Angeles, it won its slot outright, while in other major markets including New York it was the most-watched show in its timeslot among adults 18-34.
