NBC cult hit Heroes has achieved a new ratings high, according to Nielsen Media Research.
ABC, however, led the night's ranking overall, with the Country Music Awards averaging nearly 16m viewers and a 13% share in the adults 18-49 demographic. The network's numbers dropped at 10pm, however, with CBS ratings powerhouse CSI: Miami moving into the lead.
Other first-run shows on Monday pulled generally good numbers, especially Heroes on NBC which averaged series-high figures of 14.5m viewers and a 15% share in adults 18-49. NBC did well overall, with even the troubled Studio 60 rising slightly week-on-week.
Prison Break performed well for Fox, averaging 8.6m viewers and a 9% share in 18-49; however, Justice appeared to be less popular, averaging quasi-Vanished numbers of 5.9m viewers and a paltry 4% 18-49 share.
