The Fringe actor, who played Pacey in the classic teen drama, admitted that although he doesn't think a revival of the show will happen, he wouldn't be against re-teaming with James Van Der Beek, Katie Holmes and Michelle Williams.
"Well, we killed the show so I don't think that's ever going to happen," he told The Hollywood Reporter.
"Never say never. If I'm out of work for enough years, absolutely. We'll be old and grey and nasty by the time."
Jackson also revealed that he finds the rabid fanbase surrounding Dawson's Creek to be "a little bit overwhelming".
He said: "There's a sort of rabid passion that goes with being a young, teenage, particularly 'girl fan', which I have a little bit of experience with."
Both Van Der Beek and Williams have declared recently that they would happily return to Dawson's Creek.
It was claimed after the announcement of Holmes's divorce from Tom Cruise last month that he had banned her from agreeing to a reunion movie.
