The late night host has agreed to step in at the last minute, as Parks and Recreation actor Offerman has been caught up in travel problems caused by Wednesday's severe storms on the East Coast.

Kimmel has already been confirmed as host of the 64th annual Primetime Emmys on September 23 in Los Angeles.
He will be joined by Django Unchained actress Kerry Washington and Academy of Television Arts & Sciences chairman Bruce Rosenblum to reveal the nominees for the 64th annual ceremony at 5.40 PT (13.40 UK time) on Thursday.
The nominations announcement will also be streamed online.
