Aguilera set for 'CSI' appearance

Christina Aguilera will appear in a new episode of CSI: New York.

The singer will star in an episode about domestic violence, with Aguilera drawing on her own childhood experiences.

CSI executive producer Anthony Zuiker said: "Christina's a fan of the show, and we're excited to have her. The episode will probably explore the topic of battered women".

The episode is expected to air next February.
