Charlie Sheen on 'Anger Management': '90 episodes isn't enough'

Charlie Sheen has said that he is thrilled that Anger Management is likely to be picked up for 90 episodes on FX.

The former Two and a Half Men star made his debut on the FX series to record-breaking numbers in June.

FX president John Landgraf said earlier this week that Anger Management is likely to score a 90-episode order, adding that if it does, Sheen's father Martin Sheen will join the show as a regular.

"It's exciting as hell," Charlie told reporters of the news. "Look who I get to work with. This is a really amazing group... I don't think 90 [is] going to be enough.

"I feel with how we've started that we just scratched the surface - barely," he continued.

Charlie went on to talk about potentially joining American Idol as a judge, reaffirming his interest in the reality series.

"Why not?" he said. "For me it's not always about the work, it's about the experience and when I was watching the episode [of Anger Management] with [ex-wife] Denise [Richards], I didn't really think about her and I doing the scenes, I thought about us spending time with our kids, between the scenes."
