Logo, the MTV-owned, ad-supported cable channel aimed at LGBT audiences in America, has picked up a new reality show following 6 lesbian friends who create a surfing competition.
Variety reports that production on Curl Girls has already started, with Logo hoping to have the show ready for a six-episode run next summer.
"Surfing is a way of life for the six strong, charismatic women from Southern California profiled in Logo's latest series, Curl Girls," said Logo president and MTV entertainment chief Brian Graden. "Their friendships are strong, no doubt, but they thrive on competition, and that makes for some interesting television."
