“MSNBC Investigates: Bio Terror: The New War,??? an in-depth look at the threat of biological and chemical warfare, premieres Thursday, October 18 at 9 p.m. ET. Hosted by John Seigenthaler, this one-hour documentary attempts to answer the growing list of questions behind the anthrax cases reported from Capitol Hill, Florida and New York. Could it be the work of Osama bin Laden? Who is behind it? Why is it happening?
The threat of bio-terrorism attack has been known for decades. Gulf War soldiers called it "slime." Their commanders called it Bio Warfare. Whatever the name, it is the battle the U.S. is least prepared for - despite the warnings.
In addition, MSNBC will separate fact from fiction to let viewers know what they need to do to be safe.
