Published Monday, Nov 27 2006, 19:51 GMT | By James Welsh
ABC has pulled The Nine from its schedule with immediate effect.
The serialised mystery, which counts among its cast Boston Public's Chi McBride and Star Trek: Enterprise's John Billingsley, has been replaced by news-magazine programmes with no date given for its return.
However, a statement on the show's page on ABC's website said that the show would return "later this season."
The Nine has been picked up in the UK by Five.
