Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk's American Horror Story: Asylum has unveiled its premiere date and new teasers.
The second season of the horror drama - which takes place in the 1960s at an asylum for the criminally insane run by a nun - will premiere on Wednesday, October 17 at 10/9c on FX.
Following the 'Taste' teaser released on Tuesday, American Horror Story: Asylum has posted two more teasers on its Facebook page.
In 'Bandage', a woman clothed in red is seen in the woods with her wrists wrapped in white bandages.
The second teaser is a close-up of a person's skin while they or possibly someone else attempts to stab it with a fork.
The new season features aliens, Nazis and a serial killer named Bloody Face, who wears a mask made out of his victims' skin, reports Entertainment Weekly.
"I don't think people tune in to the show because they want My Dinner with Andre," Murphy has said. "I think they want to be scared. I'm just writing what I would like to see.
"I'm scared of aliens and I'm scared of Nazis and I'm scared of nuns. So it's the perfect stew of horror and fear."
AHS: Asylum will star Jessica Lange, James Cromwell, Chloe Sevigny, Joseph Fiennes, Adam Levine, Evan Peters and Zachary Quinto.
