Lochte - who won five medals at the recent London Olympic Games - told Celebuzz that the series would follow his everyday life and training routine.
"There's been a lot [of offers]," he said. "We're going to try to work with E! on getting my own reality show. It's pretty much they follow me, my normal day - just training and my new fashion line."
Lochte confirmed that he is "talking" to E! "right now", adding that he believes his reality show would be different from other series.
"It's real," he said. "It's not fake or anything like that. It's going to be me being myself and I'm just pretty much going to show the world that and my new fashion line."
Lochte, who has been linked to established shows such as The Bachelor and Dancing with the Stars, explained that he feels "really lucky to get all these proposals".
"Me and my team are going to have to sit down and decide what route we want to go to and what shows we're going to do," he said.
