A new promo of Scandal's upcoming second season has been unveiled.
The clip features series regular Kerry Washington, who announced the Primetime Emmy Award nominations in July.
Scandal follows Pope, a former White House Communications Director who now heads her own crisis management firm.
Columbus Short, Guillermo Diaz, Darby Stanchfield and Katie Lowes also feature on the ABC drama.
Grey's Anatomy actor Steven Bailey, Norm Lewis and Patrick Fischler recently joined next season.
Scandal debuted on April 2012 and will premiere its second season on Thursday, September 27 at 10/9c.
