The Battlestar Galactica actress will play a character named Lauren in the cult comedy's fourth season, according to TVLine.

The season's fourth episode will be set at a convention for Inspector Spacetime - a Doctor Who parody. Both Helfer and Matt Lucas (Little Britain) will appear as sci-fi fans who bond with Abed (Danny Pudi).
The Canadian actress recently starred on NBC's short-lived drama The Firm and played a guest role on Criminal Minds.
Community returns to NBC on Friday, October 19 at 8.30/7.30c.
